So. LotR...Yeah [Dec. 17th, 2003|06:19 pm]
한국 사람이 아니다
[Current Mood |weary]

It wasn't bad; I quite liked the scene where Legolas and Aragorn go outside looking for a cellphone signal and impersonate a Calvin Klein Obsession ad.

Then they had this fire alarm and evacuated all 17 screens...and we stood outside and across the street for a while in the rain. That was fun.

We got magic red tickets, though. These are good for any movie, any time. I got two...so: for $6.25, I got to see Return of the King on opening night, and I got $20.50 worth of free movie vouchers. Sweet.

Didn't like the spider. Not one bit. Ew. Cree. Pee. But I quite liked the city, and I would love to have a hobbit house.
This may or may not be my real review. We'll see.

Along the same lines ... did you see this?

'tween the icon and the comments ... I was snickering all afternoon.

Oh, my goodness...I love how so many people are so irate that they were "spoiled."

Which they indeed are...but more in the "brat" way than in the "found out the ending" way...

Ick! That spider scene was way too long for me....now *that* is scary to me. I had that sensation that a spider was crawling on me for the rest of the movie. Bleh!

The city was breathtaking, now I could live there just fine. =)

Sorry to hear about the fire alarm but the free passes make up for it, I suppose.

I've never heard of a fire alarm going off at a movie theater. That must have been very interesting with 17 screens of people pilling out.

Wish I could say that. Sadly, it seems to happen often. There've been two this year for movies I've seen (with the same friend), and he said he's been to at least one other (to which I did not go) that had one as well.

It happens way too freaking often at Loew's Boston Common, anyway...
