I meant to post about this yesterday, during the game, but I was alternatively so bemused and so sleepy I wasn't able to lift the laptop. Daisuke Matsuzaka is releasing a "mix tape" of all the songs he listens to before a game. Jerry and Don were playing the Gyroball song (which has their commentary remixed over the music, and evidently is Track 1) and dancing around the announcer box. It was all kinds of awesome. I love those two, they are so goofy. They make watching Sox games fun.

But I digress.

I have this little collection of Red Sox CDs and MP3s (Tessie, Fever Pitch soundtrack, random MP3s from the radio from 2004, even some Bronson Arroyo tracks), and I have a fairly large collection of Japanese pop and rock (Mr. Children is a particular favourite), so this is right up my alley.

I already pre-ordered it from Amazon; it comes out next month... And there's also a rather bad "official" site that basically sends you to Amazon...Don and Jerry said it would be available on the NESN site, but there was no evidence of it this morning.

Oh, awesome. I can't wait til next month.
