Okay. All the insanity of yesterday was justified. Outside my window:

Summer Street, Somerville, 12:10pm. Dude, it's way too early for that shovel.

Summer Street, Somerville, 12:25pm.
The plow has been by several times, not that you can tell.

Summer Street, Somerville, 12:26pm. Here's the plow again.

The weather news guys keep broadcasting from Government Center. Which pretty much underscores why it's considered one of the most badly designed public spaces in history.

Mayor Menino? Looks like a Vogon.

Chigake Windler? Best. Name. Ever. And yeah, it's pronounced like "Chicago" - Chi-GA-gee.

I'm estimating it's about 50/50 that we'll get a snow day tomorrow. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

Beautiful!!!!!

Our early spring is about to get seriously rained on...it won't be as pretty as this, sadly.

I'm a kid around snow. I'm going out in a few minutes to enjoy it and take photos.

We had friends over this morning for pancakes, French toast, and mimosas. That's how to spend a snowy Sunday morning.

What's your cross-street at Summer Street?

Ann and I are thinking of going out to enjoy the snow. We could throw a snowball at your window if you like. ;-)

Near the Star Market; this is a public post so I demur from saying more.

However, my street is particularly idiosyncratic about its one-way streets.

I do however live on the third floor; you'd have to throw pretty hard to hit my window. I do, however, warmly invite you to lob snowballs at the first floor tenants' windows.

Let me try using telepathy* to guess your address.

I'm seeing a tree, a single even number, and a triple-decker with half the steps shoveled....

I reckon I could find it.

*also good guesswork, the web and your clues

It's actually a double odd number...but you're close. I'm on the corner.

The weather you've got is remarkable enough to warrant a spot in Sweden's largest newspaper's online edition: http://www.dn.se/DNet/jsp/polopoly.jsp?d=148&a=520903&previousRenderType=6

Well, the icon shows me, Kalle and Pyret. Kalle was sick, and dozed in my arms. He's better now, but now Titti's feeling not well at all, and they are to visit her mum for a week beginning this Monday.
