한국 사람이 아니다

It's really kind of an internet phenom: little little Cyclops, the one-eyed kitten. Universally called "him," a simple web search will find you dozens of bloggers and online journalists talking about the "poor little guy" who only lived one day.

Everyone seems to just love little Cy. In a world where a person's beliefs can go up in "flames" in a heartbeat, there is one little symbol that we agree on. He's showing up as an icon on LiveJournal, and when he does, people comment about him rather than the topic at hand. I'm no better; I commented to someone with a Cy icon, Poor little Cy :-(

Their reply was:

But at least he was born in front of a person who took care of him his whole short life! Still :(

I've really never seen anything like it, and I'm coming up on my 10 year anniversary of living online.

I've started sniffing around; if I can track her down, I'd like to write to Traci Allen of Redmond, OR. I've started looking for Ragdoll breeders in Oregon. I just want to tell her that I, like thousands of others, love little Cy, and I want to thank her for sharing him with all of us.

Remember Cy. He's the one thing we have in common.

I think your bad job and illness have addled your brains, but if it works for you...:)

I've avoided looking at his pic until now, because I knew it would be heart-breaking. It was. :(

Honestly... I don't want to bust the bubble, but I thought the one eyed cat was more gross than cute. Whatever floats your boat, though. :)
