We should have gotten a picture of Boog Powell holding Domo. That would have been cool.
Did you get that picture that guy took of us and Domo yet?
I know. I was kicking myself tonight.
No...haven't gotten that photo yet, either...but I was thinking about that, as well.
Good thing we didn't take Domo to the pool. :)
Hey, come on AIM if you're around, we're chatting
::Pets Domo:: He goes to all these wonderful places I never get to go.
Baltimore doesn't have painted crabs all over it does it? Dallas has these painted Pegasuses all over it and Chicago apparently has cows. :x
Yes, it does! I've seen the Chicago cows...Boston had Cods a few years ago. I didn't know about the Pegasuses (Pegasi?) in Dallas, though...
Yup, there were originally supposed to just be 25, but I -know- I've seen more than that. I have a book of the Chicago cows, I wish I had a Dallas Pegasus one. D:
And Halifax has Lobsters! Buffalo, NY did Buffalo at some point, but they're gone now.
Pegasuses? What's the connection with Dallas?
Ooooh, the Pegasus is like the symbol for Dallas. I mean, other than the skyline, I guess. It started from the Texaco (I think that's it..) gas statation's pegasus. They used to have an office building downtown that had this giant rotating pegasus, it was made with red neon lights. And there's this building next to it that if you go into it and look at the pegasus from the windows it'll look smaller the closer you are and larger the farther away you are - I saw it first hand when I was little and went to a wedding reception in the building. Anyways, the Texaco had left a long time ago, from the building, and they were going to remove the pegasus, but I think there was some big position to prevent that and now it has to stay.
So, in Dallas, some of the street signs will have little pegasus logos on them sometimes and they've used the pegasus for the phone book coverer a few times. And once, in high school, we designed our robotics team's t-shirt for the year to have the robotic scot riding the red pegasus. :3 (or school mascot was was 'the fighting scot' 'cause we went to Highland Park :P)
Hey, cool! I never suspected.
m'hmm! I thought it was totally awesome when someone told me, too. And being that I lived in Dallas it made complete sense. :3
I was hoping there would be Domo travel pics. They make me smile, a lot!
Wait... what are all those dots in the stands at the ballpark? Oh... wait... is that what a stadium full of fans looks like?
Sorry, new experience for me as a Tribe fan.
Yeah...those are people!
