My review of Fever Pitch is up at FilmMonthly.
All that disease stuff was what came to me and wouldn't let me go back to sleep...
Hee. See, I thought that was the best bit of it- it really is a disease.
Which is probably why I didn't think anything he did was unusual.
No. In fact, Dave and I kept saying thing like "that sounds like you!"
Of course he was pointing out what things were and when they left something out. It was like watching the DVD with commentary.
Which damn. I hope those Farrellys do that...
Oh, they have to
had to sit through that whole movie grmacing because that's his life.
OK. Small world department. Your review is on the same page as a review from Hank Yuloff. Hank, and his wife Sharyn, were members of our old congregation in Granada Hills, and Sharyn was on my Religious Practices committee!
I've never met Hank (and Sharyn) in person, but we've both been reviewing for FilmMonthly for a while, and Hank and I have corresponded. We both got to FilmMonthly through my friend Del, with whom I worked at one place back in...wow. 1997.
Of course, I met you through none of those channels...so the link is truly, truly amazing to me.
