They shoot kitties, don't they? [Mar. 7th, 2005|09:04 pm]

They just might start if an asshat in Wisconsin has his way.

I'm sorry. How is he going to tell a feral cat from someone's pet? Granted, cats should be kept indoors for their safety (and because of jerks like this guy) but sometimes they manage to slip out, and something tells me that this guy's the type to shoot first, look for a collar second.

I know. Besides the fact that catching birds is hard and most cats don't manage it all too often. They mostly catch mice and other little things that are incapable of flight.

I saw one of the neighborhood feral cats *almost* catch a squirrel this winter. they actually wrestled for a while until the squirrel managed to get away. The cats probably do catch birds, though, as we find leavings every now and again.

Hunting is hard, and squirrels are tough!

I had a part-Siamese when I was in high school who caught birds. He caught a mourning dove once...I have no idea how he managed that, because those are large, strong birds for a cat to kill.

shoot kids, adults, cats, passing people on the road....

as long as it's on your property.

And it doesn't even have to be well-marked.

Well, that sure does explain a lot about GW's mindset.

I suspect a lot of GW's trouble is that he hasn't been in enough trouble.

"Tresspassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again!"

Damn.

I'm no cat person, but this guy is a complete loon. Next he'll want to shoot wild birds because they poop in his garden or something. Crazy.

No one in Texas actually does that...well, maybe people in country, but even then they'd have to go through court and might (and prolly would) lose.

You also aren't allowed to shoot them if their running away. So if you shoot them from behind, then you're screwed.
